The United Kingdom is one of the most popular countries in the world. Being labeled as a first world nation, it offers a busy, diverse and a multi-ethnic society where people from all backgrounds are welcomes and their involvement in the local communities is valued. Although English is the dominant language in UK, many other languages are spoken and understood. As the UK is such a cosmopolitan society you’ll find that many UK customs are already familiar to you – so you’ll settle in faster than you think.

As of today, UK provides more opportunities than ever before - for the working professionals to work in a varied range of industries and for students there are currently over 55,000 postgraduate taught courses and research opportunities to choose from. This in itself proves a great reason to pursue UK as a destination for better job prospects or higher education.

A major advantage of staying in the UK is the opportunity to perfect your knowledge of the English language – one of the most important skills in the international business world. If you are from outside the EU, especially if you are studying a commercial subject, you may well appreciate the opportunity to observe at first hand the operation of the European market.

A big job market, high quality of life, better education all in bundled together in one country, UK.

Work in United Kingdom

UK is one of the world’s leading business and financial centers and also the second biggest economy in EU after Germany. Its multicultural and multiethnic society makes it an exciting and unique place to work and, with a long-established system of government and economic stability, the UK is an attractive base for overseas business.

Many international firms have their headquarters in London. The Canary Wharf Street in London is termed to be equivalent of the Wall Street in the United States.

Tier 1 Visas
The visa is issued only to highly skilled migrants. To qualify, applicants must score a certain number of points, based on their education. This visa gives the individual the right to work without the employer needing to sponsor the work permit. This has the advantage of giving the Tier 1 Visa holder freedom of movement in the job market, including the right to establish a business or work on a freelance basis.

Tier 2 Visas
This Visa is designed for medium- and highly-skilled workers interested in UK immigration; Tier 2 working visas require applicants to have a confirmed offer of employment with a British company.

Study in United Kingdom

The UK has grown to become one of the top destinations to study around the world. With traditions of excellence dating back hundreds of years, high class institutions at every corner and much more flexibility than many other countries, the United Kingdom has much to offer international students that other English-speaking countries cannot offer. UK is the second most popular destination for international students, behind the US. The UK has worked hard to capitalize on the growing demand for English-language instruction

Tier 4 Visas
This visa type is issued to Students who wish to study in UK. An educational institution must sponsor visa applicants, and the length of the visa is determined by the duration of the course.

A study permit, or Tier 4 Student Visa, allows international students to study in the UK experiencing the culture and environment of the United Kingdom whilst at university.

Beyond a Study Visa, the Post Study Work Programme and Youth Mobility Scheme allows students and young people to experience working in the UK for a limited time. The Student Visa will be granted for the duration of your course, up to a maximum of 4 years if you are studying for a degree level qualification or a maximum of 3 years if you are studying for a qualification below degree level. An extension can be applied for towards the end of the period if this is required to complete your studies.

Tier 5 Visas
Tier 5 is designed to allow short-term workers and 18-30 year-olds enter the UK temporarily. The UK has a Youth Mobility Scheme, allowing young people to live in the UK on a working holiday. This scheme is only valid if you are between the ages of 18 and 30 inclusive (at least 18 years of age and under 31 years of age).

You can only apply if you have never held a working holidaymaker visa in the past

You can only qualify if you are from a Nation which is listed below. Other countries will be added in time:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Japan
  • Monaco
  • New Zealand

You will need to show a balance of at least the equivalent of GBP 1600.00 in your personal bank account(s) and/or your savings account(s) at the time the application is submitted.

You will not be permitted to switch to any other category within the Points Based System and must have left the UK upon expiry of your Tier 5 Visa.

Holiday in UK

For visitors, the beauty of travel in England is the compact nature of the country. By spending less time going between places and more time in them, you can immerse yourself in the scenery, instead of just breezing through. Whether you stroll around in some of the counties or walk through the Thames river in London, England is perfect for activity and adventure.

To travel to UK, you must be able to show that you:

  • Want to visit the UK for no more than six months
  • Plan to leave the UK at the end of your visit
  • Have enough money to support and accommodate yourself adequately without working or help from public funds or government.
